AutoReport looks like a standard email programme so that it is simple to use by all practice staff:

Sending Reports

To send a report, the user simply clicks on the "Report" button and enters patient information:

Then, the user clicks the "Referring Doctor" button to select the recipient(s) of the report:

Then, an existing report in RTF format (created by, for example, Microsoft Word or HCN Blue Chip) can be inserted:

Future versions of HCN Blue Chip will allow most of these steps to be performed automatically by Blue Chip users.

Receiving Reports

At the recipient's end, once downloaded, the report will be automatically dropped off where Medical Director can find it, and is imported through the Investigations Import (F5) function. All formatting in the original report (including pictures) will be retained:
