Pracsoft Tutorial

It is important to follow the setup notes for PracSoft Tutorial carefully. If you do your Tutorial will be easy to install and use. If you do not, the text in the Tutorial will, at times, appear grainy and difficult to read.

TIP: When opening PracSoft Tutorial please ensure that PracSoft billing and appointments are closed on the computer you are using.

TIP: Please ensure the screen resolution on your computer is set to 800 x 600.

TIP: Please ensure your Colour Palette is set to HIGH COLOUR (16-bit). THIS IS MOST IMPORTANT!

To check this, on the task bar...

1. Click Start - Settings - Control Panel.
2. Double-click the Display icon.
3. Click on the Settings tab.
4. Your 'Desktop area' should say 800 by 600 pixels.
5. Next to the 'Desktop area' is the 'Colour Palette'. You must use High colour (16 bit). If you do not, the text may appear difficult to read.

Caution: Some older computers may not support this. In this case your text will be difficult to read. It would be highly recommended that you re-install the tutorial on a newer computer.

TIP: When using PracSoft Tutorial please follow the exercises as they are explained. If you skip exercises that asked for a screen change, your text may not match with the corresponding PracSoft screen. In this case go back to find the point where you were asked to click a button which opened another PracSoft screen.
