Bulk Claims
How do I undo a claim once it has been batched?
- Click on Add Previously Processed Claims.
- In Claim Details box scroll forward to Selected Claim. This will show in blue as processed.
- Click Undo.
How do I deal with a claim once it has been sent to Medclaims (Canberra) and rejected?
- Make a note of the claim to unbatch.
- Go Start - Programs - PracSoft - Table Browser.
- Type in bulkclaim and click on Open Table.
- Scroll to the bottom of the database and work back to find the claim (the most recent claim is placed at the bottom).
- Highlight the claim you wish to change and arrow to your right. Arrow across to the Medclaims column making sure you stay in the same row. Change the number in the Medclaims column to zero. Arrow across to the Date Lodged column and delete that field. This will show the date and time the claim was lodged. Delete this too.
- Arrow across to the File column and delete that, leaving it blank.
- Click on any other cell, as this will save anything on the table you have changed.
- Go back to Bulk Claims and follow the steps in the above FAQ to unbatch.
