How to recover from a blackout

1. After the electricity is restored, restart your computers. Ensure your Server is started first (if applicable).
2. Start PracSoft on one workstation. Make sure it correctly and fully starts on the first workstation.
3. Then start PracSoft on all other computers.
4. If the program does not function normally, close PracSoft on all computers. Run a database maintenance from any workstation.

How to run a database maintenance

1. If PracSoft was installed from the CD – click Start – Programs – PracSoft – database maintenance; Or Otherwise - click Start – Run – type c:\pracsoft\maintain
2. The database maintenance will run. You will know when it is completed when the screen disappears.

How to have PracSoft starting up automatically when you turn on your computer

1. Right-click Start, then left-click Explore. Windows Explorer will appear.
2. On the right hand side, double-click on Programs.
3. Double-click PracSoft.
4. Right-click PracSoft then left-click Copy.
5. Right-click on the Startup folder.
6. Left-click on Paste.

How to remove PracSoft from starting up automatically when you turn on your computer

1. Right-click Start, then left-click Explore.
2. Open the Startup folder.
3. Click on the shortcut.
4. Click Delete.
