What is USE?
The Unified Search Environment USE), developed by Health Communication Network, logically organises and searches a variety of content groups in an efficient and integrated manner. USE provides a global overview through a searching system and a browsing system.
The searching system presents a clinician with an easy-to-use search interface supporting simple keyword and more complex queries (eg. Boolean searches). The browsing system presents a hierarchy of topics allowing users to navigate, to a desired topic or to locate related subjects to a given topic. A Go Direct drop down list is also available to provide direct access to individual Knowledge Resources. Once users are in an individual resource, they can continue navigating and searching within the resource, or return to the USE.
For more information refer to the USE Help Guide.
