An important notice to all Medical Director subscribers, as per the notice on the MDref update of October 2011, HCN would like to remind all Medical Director subscribers of the following:
With the MD/PS3.12.1 release the MDref Drug Database was modified to offer greater flexibility in managing the ever increasing number of approved medications, and improved prescribing performance. In order to benefit from these changes, ALL users will be required to update to 3.12.1 as ongoing monthly MDref support will not be available for earlier versions of Medical Director.
NOTE: THIS CHANGE WILL TAKE EFFECT WITH THE DECEMBER 2011 MDref.

FOR MD3 SUBSCRIBERS: Medical Director subscribers are advised to upgrade to MD3.12.1 before 1 December 2011.
All subscribers MUST update to 3.12.1 as ongoing monthly MDref support will not be available for earlier versions of Medical Director.

FOR MD2 SUBSCRIBERS: MD2 subscribers are advised to upgrade to MD3.12.1 before 1 December 2011.
The October 2011 MDref for MD2 was the final MDref for MD2. MD2 will keep working until the October 2011 MDref expires in May 2012. However, for each month that the upgrade to MD3 is delayed, the October 2011 MDref will be a month further out of date.
